For cardiac output measurements with the Transonic® Hemodialysis Monitor, the Flow/dilution Sensors must be placed on ADT1018 (Ethylene Oxide Sterlized) or ADT1010 (Gamma Sterilized) Flow-QC® tubing as these tubing sets provide an injection port at the proper location for the required saline injection. Each tubing set consists of two short pieces of tubing, a straight arterial segment and a Y-branched venous segment. These short tubing segments are placed directly into the dialysis line during priming and the Sensors are clipped on to the center of each segment.
