Transonic Systems' BLF 21-Series perfusion monitors measure microcirculation in 1 cubic mm of tissue for real-time assessment of perfusion in
patients. Flowmeters monitor the effects of excercise, drug treatments, environmental or physical manipulations on target microvascular beds. Dual
channel units can monitor an experimental tissue along with a control or a second area of affected tissue.
Two basic styles of Laser Doppler Probes are available: those for acute use and the chronic
application probe. Continuous measurements can be taken in skin with surface probes: intraopertively in organs with surface, straight or
needle probes: and internally with endoscopic probes. The mono-fiber probe can be used to measure perfusion with fibers inplanted in tissue
of lab animals.
PowerLab® Data Acquisition Systems
Transonic Laser Doppler Flowmeters provide analog output
signals for their measured parameters. PowerLab provides A/D converter and software systems to display, analyze, and store data.
