BLF Surface Probe
BLF surface probe using laser doppler technology to measure tissue perfusion

Specialist Support (secure)

Following skin flap repair surgery, medical staff can monitor perfusion through the flap with laser Doppler technology. If the perfusion falls below a pre-set threshold, an alarm will sound, summoning hospital personnel to the patient's bedside.

Transonic Systems' BLF 21-Series perfusion monitors measure microcirculation in 1 cubic mm of tissue for real-time assessment of perfusion in patients.

This safe, compact and portable bedside monitor is easy to operate and comes with sterilizable, interchangeable, Laser Doppler Probes for surface, mucosa or deep tissue measurements.

Data acquisition is available through an analog output to a recorder on a Windows-based PC.
