Instructions for applying the HD03 Administrator update:

Download Installation:

Download the HD03 Update.zip file.
Uncompress the file to a new HD03 Updates folder either on your desktop or C: drive on your System Administrator PC
Double CLICK the install-hd03-admin-1.5.2.2955.exe file

CD Installation:

Insert CD into the drive of your System Administration PC. This is the same PC on which you installed the HD03 Administrator CD
Continue with these steps:
Follow the on screen instructions for installation. Since you already have a version of the HD03 Administrator loaded you will get a message: “HD03 Database Administrator is already installed. CLICK OK to remove the previous version or Cancel to cancel this upgrade” CLICK ON OK
On the next screen you will you see “Are you sure you want to completely remove HD03 Database Administrator etc. (Yes or No)” Select YES (Your patient data will NOT be overwritten)
The next screen will tell you that the HD03 “Database administrator has been removed” CLICK OK.
This will launch the setup wizard: CLICK NEXT to display the Choose Components screen.
If you already have Adobe Reader loaded on your PC then uncheck Adobe Reader 6.0. Then CLICK NEXT
When the Choose Install Location screen displays, CLICK on INSTALL and the software installation will begin.
When the install is complete you will get a screen that ask you to CLICK finish to close the wizard On this same window
- uncheck the box that reads Run HD03 Database Administrator
- then CLICK Finish.
Without removing the CD, go to the next set of instructions (Instructions For Updating The HD03 Monitor Software) to complete the update.

Instructions For Updating The HD03 Monitor Software

If you are doing a download update:

Included on this HD03 Administrator download is a folder called HD03. This folder contains a file labeled a.lib.2955, a.zip.2955 and a.zip.2955.MD5. These files will be used to update the software on your HD03 Monitor.

How to find this folder on the CD:

Double CLICK on the “My Computer” icon on your System Administrator PC
Right CLICK (from your mouse) on the “CD drive” (may displayed as “CD-RW Drive”), to display a drop down menu. From the dropdown menu, select OPEN. The drive will open and you will see the folder HD03. Double CLICK on the folder and it will open to show you the a.lib.2955, a.zip.2955 and a.zip.2955.MD5 files.

Follow these instructions:

The above three files will need to be copied to an Update folder found on your DTM
Plug one end of your USB extension cable (that came with your HD03 system) into your pc or laptop.
Plug the other end of the USB cable into the DTM.
The drive itself should open. (If the drive doesn’t open you can open another session of My Computer. Find the Removable Disk drive and double CLICK on it.)
When the drive opens you should see 2 folders, one is a database folder the other is an update folder.
Copy the a.lib.2955 file to the update folder.
Repeat the process above and copy the a.zip.2955 file to the update folder.
Repeat the process above and copy the a.zip.2955.MD5 file to the update folder
The a.lib.2955 file, a.zip.2955 file and the a.zip.2955.MD5 file should now reside in the update folder.
Then close the removable disk and unplug the DTM from the USB cable.
Next, make sure the HD03 monitor is plugged into AC power.
Insert the data transfer module. Power On the HD03 monitor.
Once HD03 Monitor boots up, you will get a message that reads an update has been detected do you want to continue (or something similar); press continue or ok.
The next message will say the Update has been completed, the monitor needs to retstart. You may remove the DTM before restarting. DON'T REMOVE THE DTM, just press continue or ok.
The HD03 monitor will do the rest.
Once it has finished updating the HD03 will automatically restart, when finished restarting you should be looking at the Patient Selection screen.
Your updates are now installed; the CD may be removed.
