Circulatory Models
Introduced more than 25 years ago, circulatory models, although over simplifications of actual physiology, are helpful in understanding the transport mechanisms and distribution kinetics of agents within the body.
Transonic flow measurements are integral to a mock circulatory model setup. Transonic in-line and clamp-on tubing sensors can be affixed to the tubing circuit to accurately measure fluid volume flow in ml/min or L/min through the mock circulation.
