October 19th, 2004 - Transonic Systems has partnered with Finger Lakes Engineering to aid the company in
documenting compliance of a new software-based flowmeter product with IEC60601-4 medical device software requirements. Transonic Systems pioneers and provides
gold-standard hemodynamic flow measurements solutions for blood and other liquids during surgery, hemodialysis, and laboratory research and in Original Equipment
Manufacturers’ (OEM) products. Finger Lakes Engineering and Transonic collaborate to design and document IEC60601-4 software compliance for a new line of miniature,
software-based OEM flowmeter products for medical applications.
Compliance with the IEC60601-4 standard will assure that this new Transonic OEM product will live up to Transonic’s “gold standard” flow measurement performance requirements.
