TRANSONIC SYSTEMS RELEASES COSTATUS®, A NEW HEMODYNAMIC MONITOR FOR MEASURING CARDIAC OUTPUT & BLOOD VOLUMES IN CHILDREN, ADOLESCENTS AND ADULTS
COstatus®, Transonic Systems’ Cardiac Output and Hemodynamic Monitor can provide ICU physicians with key hemodynamic parameters to assist in making treatment decisions for critically ill patients. |
Transonic Systems Product Manager James Zhang, MD commented “We found that physicians in the ICU were having a difficult time creating care plans based on traditional methods and wanted to ensure that patients received the best care possible. COstatus® is valuable system that will assist physicians in making timely decisions for critically ill patients.”
COstatus® has a wide range of applications and can be used in Pediatric Intensive Care Units, Adult Intensive Care Units, Surgical Intensive Care Units, Coronary Care Units, Catheterization Labs, Trauma Units and Burn Units. The release of COstatus® has been highly anticipated by Pediatric Intensive Care Units because it is the first of its kind.
Transonic Systems expects that COstatus® will establish new standards of diagnostic testing in intensive care units and enable improved patient outcomes especially for pediatric ICU patients
