PhysioMeter

Pocket single and dual channel flowmeters have temperature measurement capability. The unit is 14 cm x 7.5 cm x 4.4 cm, ~260 grams, and fits in a standard size animal jacket pocket. Removable cover gives access to flowprobe power lead connections. Power is derived from the rechargeable battery pack. The Bluetooth® signal transmission range is 15 meters minimum.

Intelligent Battery Pack

The matching battery case holds two reliably rechargeable Li-Ion batteries, 7.2 volts, 1350 mAH, for combined nine hours of uninterrupted measurements. Low power LEDs indicate which battery is in use and low battery voltage. The unit automatically switches when the battery level drops to too low. Weight and size of the battery pack is consistent with the PhysioMeter for even distribution on the animal subject.

Bluetooth® Dongle

The MSI Bluetooth® dongle is the receiver “antenna” which plugs into the USB port of the computer for data collection. The wireless communication equipment operates at a worldwide available standard 2.4 GHz frequency band.

PhysioView Data Acquisition Software

The user interface activates and turns on the PhysioMeter once the wireless connection is established with the computer.
