Global Product Developments

HD02 users can now change the serial connector to USB on the HD02 monitor with the RETROHD02-USB Upgrade.

The computer industry is changing to USB and many manufacturers have laptops with USB only, especially in Europe and Asia. The retrofit replaces the RS232 connector and cable with a USB connector and cable.  If you are an HD02 user and wish to change over to the USB, please contact your nearest distributer to acquire the upgrade.

The connector change is different from the “Step-up to HD02 System” upgrade which involves changes to the electronic components of the HD01 monitor to give your HD01 full HD02 features and performance at a fraction of the HD02 price!

FAQ

How do I know that Transonic Hemodialysis monitors will be accurate?

There are 2 major sources that guarantee high accuracy of HD02 measurements.

1. Valid basic theory supported by independent clinical studies world wide.

2.Quality control software - every measurement (Access Recirculation, Access Flow, Cardiac Output) is analyzed by special software that was developed based on analysis of thousands of measurements. Any sign of signal irregularity will produce a message that will tell the user what is wrong and ask to repeat the measurement. If there is no repeat message, then the result is 99.5 - 99.8% accurate (within the specification).
