TS410 Tubing Flowmeter - In Vitro & Extracorporeal Applications
Transonic Systems' TS410 Flowmeter Module with PXL-Series sterile tubing flowsensors is
the system of choice for unparalleled volume flow measurements in tubing applications including extracoporeal shunts and cannulas,
fluid phantoms and mock circulatory models, artificial heart and VAD performance, pulse duplication/heart valve studies and isolated perfused organ studies. The TS410 has:
Programmable calibration for different liquids
Lowest signal-to-tubing ratio ever for tubing flow measurement
Programmable gain for user calibration with different fluid/temperatures
Programmable alarms: low/high flow; received signal threshold alarm
Easy-to-read numeric LED displays set-up/system status
Sterile tubing flowsensors (PXL-Series) utilize our most advanced designs for ultrasonic flow illumination to provide
reliable, stable measurements even under perturbed and non-steady flow conditions. Available for tubing sizes 1/8" od to 1 1/4" od.
PXN-In-Line Flowsensors splice into laboratory tubing and measure absolute volume flow of blood and other fluids. The
new four-transducer sensor design offers precision accuracy for flows from less than 1ml/min up to flows of 100 liters/min.
Flow range senstivity is scaled to sensor size and flow is measured equally well across the full dynamic range of the
sensor with little senstivity to turbulence. The smooth round flow channel is easy to clean and barbed ultem tubing ends mate easily to flexible
laboratory tubing. PXN-inline sensors can be calibrated for up to four fluid/temperature combinations for highest accuracy performance.

Ultrasound that Measures Volume Flow, Not Velocity
Using wide-beam illumination, transducers pass ultrasonic
signals back and forth, alternately intersecting flowing blood in upstream and downstream directions. The transit time of
the ultrasonic beam is decreased when traveling downstream with the blood flow and increased when traveling upstream
against the flow. The difference between the integrated transit times is a measure of volume flow
PowerLab® Data Acquisition Systems
